The unknown world of weddings
Getting married is a story.
An adventure.
A journey into the unknown.
It’s like renovating your house.
It all starts with excitement.
You imagine the final result.
“It’s going to be beautiful.”
And then…
Boom.
You find yourself trapped in a world of weird terms you’ve never heard
before.
“This material is better than that one.”
“This brand is the best, but this other one is almost the same and costs
less.”
“Whatever you do, don’t do this before that or the whole thing will collapse.”
And you’re just standing there like:
“What the hell is happening?”
Well, planning a wedding is exactly the same.
I see it all the time with couples.
They start off excited.
But after a while… they have no idea what they actually need.
More and more services.
More and more numbers.
Everything adding up.
Until they completely lose sight of what really matters.
And this is where you have to take a step back and remember the basics.
Getting married is not just a list of vendors.
Getting married is:
Enjoying the moment.
Being surrounded by your people.
Loving each other like crazy.
Eating and drinking like kings.
Laughing.
Dancing.
Hugging.
Feeling everything.
All in the same place.
On the same day.
That’s unique.
Everything else? Well…
That’s up to you.
But I will say this:
Surround yourself with vendors who know what they’re doing.
Trust me, that’s what makes the difference between an epic wedding and a
“meh… this could have been better” kind of day.
And don’t cut corners on what really matters.
P.S. If you’re looking for a videographer who knows what he’s doing,
is above.
