04 Aug Your wedding is not a gym
Your wedding is not a gym
Gyms.
They’re weird as hell.
You walk in and see dozens of people not looking at each other, not talking,
just locked into medieval torture machines disguised as fitness equipment.
Men and women, grunting in front of mirrors, lifting weights,
making faces that could mean pain, pleasure, or a full-blown seizure.
If you step back…
If you really look at it…
It’s a bizarre spectacle.
Exercise has become a social obligation.
It’s not enough to be healthy.
You have to look healthy.
If you don’t go to the gym, people judge you.
If you do go but skip two days, you feel guilty.
And in the end, nobody’s happy.
The ones who don’t go, because they think they should.
The ones who do, because it’s never enough.
Twenty years ago, people showed off their bodies without overthinking it.
Love handles? Normal.
Dad bods? Normal.
Cellulite? Normal.
Now?
There’s a standard.
If you don’t fit it, you’re lazy.
If you do, there’s always someone stronger, leaner, more “perfect.”
Comparison will ruin your damn life.
And weddings?
Same story.
Trends come and go.
Fads that everyone follows like sheep.
Wedding videos that look more like perfume commercials than real memories.
Not me.
I don’t follow trends.
I don’t film for Instagram.
I film for history.
Because 20 years from now, when you rewatch your wedding video,
you don’t want it to look like some expired trend.
You want to relive your wedding.
Exactly as it was.
No trendy filters.
No fake poses.
No comparisons.
Just pure, unfiltered emotion.
